Withdrawal & Expulsion

  1. School discipline is intended to create an environment which assists in the self-development of students. Enrolment in this school implies a willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school on the part of the pupil and the parents.

  2. Pupils are expected to behave in a likable manner on all occasions.They should address their teachers and companions with politeness and courtesy.

  3. Refinement of manners, uprightness and self-respect should distinguish every pupil of the school.

  4. Since Gyanpur Candid Sansthan is an English medium school, pupils are expected to speak only in English during school hours; this will help in academic progress in the subject, and in the acquisition of the requisite language skills.

  5. Students of all classes should attend the assembly in the morning. Late comers will not be admitted to class without principal’s permission.

  6. No child is to be absent without a written leave application.

  7. All students should be in proper and clean school uniform, shoes well polished, tidy & no jewellery is to be worn and no make-up to be used in any form.

  8. Girls must tie their hair neatly in two plaits with black bands with center parting( no puff and fringes allowed).They will wear a white knee-length slip under their uniform.

  9. Boys must have short hair (crew cut).

  10. No henna on the hands or hair colour /bleach is permitted.

  11. Nails are to be clipped regularly and kept short with no nail enamel applied.

  12. The college does not accept responsibility for loss of books, money, clothes etc.. Each child is responsible for his/ her belongings.

  13. Any kind of damage done to college property or premises by a student will make him / her to face stern actions.

  14. College will not be responsible of any cycle kept unlocked.

  15. Due to lack of parking space, no student is permitted to bring two wheelers to school. Only bicycles are permitted.

  16. Strict action will be taken against students without license found guilty of parking vehicles in or around the school premises.

  17. Students should not tamper with the entries in their progress reports and diaries / copies.

  18. It is compulsory for students to participate in college function, national celebration, sports, cultural and literary activities.

  19. No child will be allowed to leave college during college hours.

  20. Possession of Mobile phones, cameras, CDs and Pen drives by students in the campus is strictly prohibited and strict action will be taken against the offender unless prior permission is granted.

  21. No extra books, newspapers or periodicals should be brought to the college without prior permission.

  22. No contribution/ donation to be collected for any purpose whatsoever without prior permission of the principal.

  23. Money should not be lent, borrowed or exchanged in the school.

  24. Students are not permitted to give gifts to members of the staff or to each other.

  25. Every child is urged to contribute to the high values of the school by his/her conduct, discipline and commitment to studies.

  26. Child can be expelled from school if he/she shows irregular attendance, disrespect and disobedience towards the authorities /teachers.

Recommendations To The Parents

  1. Parents /Guardians are requested to comply with the school management in all matters concerning in the upbringing and the development of the ward.

  2. School Diary should be brought to school daily.

  3. Parents/Guardians are required to look into their child’s school diary every day.

  4. Remarks made in the school diary should be acknowledged and counter signed regularly by the parents.

  5. All homework assigned for the next day should be done neatly and the day's work always dated.

  6. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings by having them neatly labeled.

  7. Parents must attend all Parent Teacher Meeting and if you feel that your child is not making desired progress, please take an appointment to discuss it with the Class Teacher.

  8. Criticism of a student’s teacher or his/her college in the presence of the child should be avoided because it may cause the student to lose respect for the teacher and the school.

  9. Parents are not allowed to meet their ward or teachers during school hours without prior permission of the principal.

  10. Our school teachers do not take tuitions of their own students. Therefore do not force them to teach your ward privately.

  11. Parents are requested to inform the school of any change of address or contact number.

  12. Parents are requested that they should ensure that their ward takes part in all school activities and they themselves participate regularly in all school functions whenever they are invited.

  13. Parents are requested to clear all dues on time. Students will be allowed to appear in the examination only after clearance of all dues.

  14. Parents are requested not to send their child to school when they are ill.

  15. Candidates whose attendance is below 80% of the working days are ordinarily not eligible to sit for the examination.

  16. The ward ID/ Registration Number allotted to each student at the time of admission will be her/his permanent number till the time she/he leaves school.

  17. Parents cooperation is needed in maintaining punctuality, regularity and discipline in all school activities /functions with college authorities.

  18. Students must reach school 10 minutes before the morning assembly bell and must be picked up within 15 minutes of school getting over.
